Cee White aka Cee Blanco is a transplant from Chicago who was drawn to Portland Oregon by the beautiful scenery, greenery and people. Cee has been behind the deck for over 40 years and draws from his experiences of playing disco, jazz-funk, Afrobeat and soulful house music.

Around the age of 12, cee followed in his fathers footsteps and began DJ’ing. As teenage years approached, Cee and his friends would rent out spaces to host their own events and dance parties for their community. "This was in the 80's so house music was just being launched outside of chicago-we were contributing to something we didn't know would have this type of magnitude in change to the world"

Outside of DJ’ing, Cee started his own record label around 2020 called Yamsand Records to help support artists which was a highlighted accomplishment of his career. Cee is also the co-founder of Deep Like.. with Decimus Floyd Vader, a music production, live show and community engagement organization. While having a nack for event planning and providing for the community, Cee is also passionate about creating and releasing new original content after working with logic and ableton. His sets take the listener on a journey through different ascetics from transitioning between songs inspired and influenced by the Chicago house music scene. His record collection represents the very essence of diverse danceable music. As a vinyl and digital DJ, he enjoys the crossover between both formats. 

You can catch Cee playing regularly at various venues around the Portland Metro region such as Lollipop Shop, Dots Cafe and Hey Love along with programming his weekly show on XRAY.fm entitled "All Things In Between Friday night 8pm till 10pm.
